Richard JeremyATKINSAt his family home Richard passed away on the 17th August after a short illness bravely born aged 49 years, his family were with him. He will be sadly missed by his family, many friends and work colleagues. Although Richard was a quiet, private person he proved to be a loyal and staunch friend, a good listener, very caring and always prepared to help or support anyone he could and provide honest advice. His colleagues will also remember his fantastic technical knowledge and desire to help them. Graveside funeral service to be held at St Lawrence's Church, Ardeley, 2nd September at 2.30pm. Everyone attending to pay their respects please observe social distancing. Our thanks to Addenbrookes Hospital, Marie Curie Night Sitters and District Nurses. One of the best managers I have worked for. Fond memories of our nights out in Manchester and Leeds when he came to visit. Will always remember when he told me about his advice to the local farmers in India on his travels, and when he got very drunk, very quickly on someone’s home brew cider! RIP Richard.
